It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Edmund Jude Cassidy (Tweed, Ontario), who passed away on September 14, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandson Freeman Cassidy; his parents, John Edmund Cassidy and Helen (LaJoie); his father-in-law Bernard; his siblings, Patrick Cassidy (Joan) and Kathleen Cassidy; his siblings-in-law, Lois Farrell (Ron Hebden), Gerard Freeman, Ruth Cassidy, Monica Freeman and Richard Farrell; his niece Rhonda Cassidy; and his nephew Curtis Courneyea.

He is survived by: his significant other Mary Teresa Cassidy; his children, Denise Cassidy (Terry Vilneff), Diana Cassidy-Bush (Allan Bush), Donna-Lee Bateman (Chad), Denver Cassidy (Rebecca), Dean Cassidy (Julie Kimball) and Dan Cassidy (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Liam, Rylee Vilneff, Rhegan, Brennan Bush, Brady, Madison Bateman, Shawn, Cohen, Drew Cassidy, Bruin Cassidy, Chloe Keating, Dyson, Dalton, Erin Cassidy and Ty Jenkins; his great grandchild Beau Bateman; his mother-in-law Annie Freeman; his siblings, Elizabeth Courneyea (Maurice), Carol Power (Mike), Jude Cassidy (Betty Lou), Jimmy Cassidy, Maureen Geen (Carl) and John Cassidy; and his siblings-in-law, Frank Freeman (Pauline DeGenova), Edward Freeman (Monica), Sharon McComber (late Joe), Rose Marie Brown (Dale), Duane Freeman (Donna) and Jeanne Manlow (Barry). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
