She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Max Mieske and Cora Mieske; her boyfriend Malcolm Madigan; her children, Melody Jones (late Trevor), Marie Johnston, Alice Madigan (late Jim), Sam Madigan (Brenda) and Fondly; her grandchildren, Tara, Morgan, Jamie, Curtis, Brandon and Brittany; and her siblings, Allen, Guy, Joseph (Faye), Debra Rosien (Weldon), Peter (Beverly) and Bradley (Sharon). She was also cherished by her 11 great-grandchildren.

If desired, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Bonnechere Manor would be greatly appreciated by the family.
