He was predeceased by: his wife Emilie Hacker; and his parents, Euphemia Hacker and Alexander Hacker. He is survived by: his children, Bernie (Josee) and Allan (Karen); his grandchildren, Laurel (Damien), Vanessa (Lee), Paul (Rae Lynn) and Amy (Steve); and his great grandchildren, Logan, Finn, Elias and Kalea.
