He was predeceased by: his parents, Hilde and Rudolph. He is survived by: his significant other Rhonda Cucan; his mother-in-law Susan Verge; his sisters, Eva Richter of Toronto and Anne Burns (Michael) of Ireland; and his nieces and nephews, Eidin Burns (Pat), Eoin Burns (Helen), Mairtin Burns and Mary Egan.
