He was predeceased by: his parents, Luella Whalen (Forestell) and Thomas James Whalen. He is survived by: his children, Tom (Doreen), Catherine Kwiecien (Stephen), Robert, Ann-Marie Mohns (Dale) and David (Marcie); his sister Barbara O'Neill (late Joe); his grandchildren, Alleisha, Breanna, Spencer, Emily, Natalie, Jacob, Hannah, Josh, Aidan and Liam; and his great grandchildren, Jack, Charlie and Elowyn.
