He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Horne and Marjorie Van Horne. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Liz"; his siblings, Maralaina Halliday of Winnipeg, Sharon Danenas of Winnipeg and Will Penner (Pearl Doerksen) of Cayley, Alberta.; and his son Jim Van Horne. He is also survived by his extended family and his friends.
