He was predeceased by: his parent Ronald Whyte; his sibling Gerald; and his sibling-in-law Dennis. He is survived by: his spouse Shirley Whyte (Hannah); his children, Boyd (Joanne), Bryce (Patrick), Janice, Denice and Bernice (Rick); his grandchildren, Katie (Craig), Ashley-Lynn, Heidi (Joel), Chad (Mel), Yolanda (Garry), Patrick (Mel), Glenda (Troy), Jennifer (Kyle), Tyler, Derrick (Sarah) and Jessica; his great grandchildren, Aliyah, Isaac, Owen, Kaleb, Ryan, Chevy, Anthony, Shakiera, Mae-Lynn, Patrick, Jaden, Broeklyn, Danika, Logan, Glenn and Anna; his parent Lila Whyte (Ruttan); his siblings, Nora, John and Barbara; and his siblings-in-law, Billy, Gloria, Royce and Mernie.
