He is survived by: his spouse Beverley Hannah; his children, Chastity Smid (Frank), Amy Leween (Adam Sutherland) and Kirk Loyd (Jessica Reddick); his grandchildren, Jasper, Destiny, Dascan, Corbin, Colton, Jane and Matthew; his siblings, Bill (Donna), James (Ruth), Norman (Verna), Carol (Blaine) and Margaret (Bruce); and also Wayne Merryweather.
