He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Blair and Ruby Blair; and his nephew Perry Bernard Blair. He is survived by: his wife Sue Mills; his brother Bernard Blair; his sisters-in-law, Betty Blair, Mary Vanness (George) and Berniece Blair; and his nieces and nephews, Lisa Cooney (Rodney), Maureen Wood (Peter), Bernadette Deline (Terry), Jeffery Blair (Natasha), Travis Vanness and Jessica Blair (Joey).
