Verna Aileen Akey Obituary
We are sad to announce that on August 17, 2018, at the age of 92, Verna Aileen Akey (Trenton, Ontario) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her siblings, Carman Brown (Donna), Garnet Brown (Pauline), Betty Botting (Howard), Marlene Morgan (Elmer) and Bill Warren.
She is survived by: her wife Gordon Goldie Akey; her children, Earl (Judy), Ronald (Barbara), Stan (Marg), Gail VanBlaricom (Rob) and Robert (Susan); her brother Merle Brown (Gail); and also Anita Warren. She is also survived by her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Royal Canadian Legion Branch #110 Poppy Fund would be appreciated by the family.
