He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ross Gibson and Eileen Gibson; his wife Valerie Gibson; his children, Thomas Gibson, Jon Gibson, Misty Traynor (Trevor) and Terry Gibson; and his stepchildren, Sandie Wright (Eddie), John Wright, David Applebaum (Jessica) and Rochelle Ballas (Jason). He was also cherished by his eight grandchildren, and nine step-grandchildren.
