He was predeceased by: his parent Sake Vanderwerff; his spouse Inez Vanderwerff (Waite); his stepchild Marlene; and his grandchild Christopher. He is survived by: his parent Dieuwke Vanderwerff (Broersma); his children, Sandor Vanderwerff (Joanne) of Brampton, Wayne Vanderwerff (Adriana) of Prince George, BC and Anne Ateah (Kurtis) of Winnipeg, MB; his stepchildren, June Booth (Dale) of Ajax, Dorothy Fielding (Luke Wierda) of Trenton, Don Ingram (Kathy) of Orillia, Douglas Ingram of Belleville and LaRose of Trenton; his siblings, Jacob Vanderwerff (Tet) and Ann Vanderwerff; his grandchildren, Angela, Sara, Steven, Kimberly, Caleb, Jubal, Gloria, Quinn, Jayden and Shayna; and his great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Benjamin, Ava, Zoey, Reid, Juniper, Ariel, Bryan and Stephanie.
