He was predeceased by: his siblings, Oene and Tini (late Piet); and his parents, Anton Dykstra and Audrey Dykstra. He is survived by: his wife Carol Dykstra of Trenton; and his siblings, Ali (Dwight), Henri and Rob (Mary Ann). He is also survived by his grandchildren and great granddaughter.
