He is survived by: his wife Daphne Dean of Trenton; his children, Ashley, Jason (Nicole) and James; his stepchildren, David (Katie), Kathryn (Justin), Dan, John (Sarah) and Carolyn (Chad); his grandchildren, Charlie, Alex, Seth, Benny, Brenna, Landon, Sam, Weston, Noelle, Ava and Max; and his siblings, Neville Dean, Leila Allen (Derek) and Wayne Dean (Joanne).

A memorial service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 4:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (79 Byrne Ave, Trenton, ON K8V 5P4). A reception was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 4:30 PM at the same location.
