He was loved and cherished by many people including: his siblings, William and Evelyn Shapton; his wife Joyce; his grandchildren, Jennifer, Joanna, Krista, Olivia and Mitchell; and his great grandchildren, Gavin, Milo and Fiona.

Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Rushnell Funeral Homes - Trenton (60 Division St, Trenton, ON K8V4W5). A memorial service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

Donations to the Campbellford Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated.
