With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Joseph Reid (Trenton, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Joseph left this world on December 25, 2024 at the age of 104, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis Reid; his children, Randy (Susan), Ron (Pat), Frederick "Rick" (Sylvie) and Rose Marie Reid (Jim Reid); his grandchildren, Jody (Kellie), Jason, Jamie (Anna), Jenna (Alessandro), Matthew (Angeline), Jessica (Andy), Scott (Sonia), Stacey, Kelly (Jeremy) and Candy; and his stepgrandchild Blair.
He is survived by: his stepgrandchildren, Jamie, Brian and Trish; and his sister-in-law Ethel LaMorre. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 4:45 PM and on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Weaver Family Funeral Homes (170 Dundas St W, Trenton, ON K8V3R1). A reception will be held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #110 (19 Quinte St, Trenton, ON K8V3S7).
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Royal Canadian Legion - Consecon #509 Poppy Fund or the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
