He was predeceased by: his parent Charles Knight; his spouse Noreen Knight (Houle); and his siblings, Percy, George, Charles, Doris, Florence, Grace, Elsie and Winnifred.

He is survived by: his parent Elsie Knight (Hylands); his children, John Knight, Jack Knight and Gary Knight of Guelph; and his grandchildren, Mark, James and Erin.
