He was predeceased by: his parent Stanislavs Bunkis; and his siblings, Vitolds and Tedis. He is survived by: his parent Helena Bunkis; his spouse Jadviga Bunkis; his children, Juris Bunkis (Tina) of California, Imants Bunkis and Inara Jackson (Doug); his grandchildren, Justin (Christie), Jessica (Brendan), Janis, Arija, Dainis, Stefans (Natalie), Nikolas and Erika; his great grandchildren, Kinley and Ilze; and his sibling Mara.
