He was predeceased by: his siblings, Gerald (Jean), Fraser (Joyce) and Jean (Hank Blakeney). He is survived by: his spouse Renate Hollett; his children, Derrick Hollett (Antonella), Heidi Hollett (James Kinnear) and Andrea Hollett; and his siblings, Mary McDonald (late Donald) and Winston Hollett (Pearl). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
