He is survived by: his children, George Whaley, Rosemarie Grabowski, Heather, Gerry DeBoer, Robert, Alison Whaley and Derrick Makimoto; his grandchildren, Yvonne, Shawn Cassibo, Ian, Dana Hill, Kevin, Maya DeBoer, Brian, Natalia DeBoer, Brandon Makimoto, Tyler Makimoto, Ryan Makimoto, Bruce Whaley and Brittney Whaley; and his great grandchildren, Lee, Brody, Shara Cassibo, Noah, Tristan, Jordan, Hannah, Willow Hill, Abigail, Annika DeBoer, Kylynn and Carson DeBoer.
