Cathy Vandenhoven Obituary

Though Cathy may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Cathy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Marcelle (Dwayne); her son Kurtis; her brother Michael; and her father William "Bill" Closs.

A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Peter's Catholic Church (140 Dundas St W, Quinte West, ON K8V4Y2). A reception was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Legion Memorial Service Then (230 N Murray St, Quinte West, ON K8V6S3).
