He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Sunnerton; and his siblings, Helen Lisk, Eileen Stewart, Harold, John, Dorothea Rutherford and Violetta McCullough.
He is survived by: his son Robert "Bob" Sunnerton (Darlene); his grandchildren, Ted and Jennifer (Syd Trefiak); and his great grandchildren, Ruby, Wren and Finley. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
