He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Elizabeth Fay (Ainslie); his children, George Edward (Galina), Thomas James (Marion) and Mary Elizabeth Pettigrew (David); his grandchildren, Thomas, Monica, Leona, David, Deborah, Tim and Mike; and his parents, William James and Mercer Bartlett. He was also cherished by his 6 great-grandchildren.
