He was predeceased by: his sister Susan Bishop; his siblings-in-law, Don Hawksworth (Jeanette) and Bing Hawksworth (Diane); and his parents, Nora Bishop and Leonard Bishop.

He is survived by: his wife Penny Bishop; his children, David (Anne Marie), Tracey LeBeau, Stephanie Quilter (Ian) and Kristina Walsh (Stephen); his grandchildren, Nicole, Carly, Blake, Estelle, Reuben, Libby, Violet, Ethan and Keaton; his sibling Wendy-Sue Bishop; and his sister-in-law Willa Pocknell (late Bob). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
