She was predeceased by: her spouse Pastor Ron Burston; and her brother Denis. She is survived by: her children, Michael (Ursel), Paul (Belinda), John (Wendy), Sheila Kennedy (David) and Judy Olenyk (Wallace); and her sister-in-law Phyllis. She is also survived by her 15 grandchildren and her numerous great-grandchildren.
