With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Yette Vandendam (Toronto, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 25, 2025 at the age of 55. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Yette Vandendam to pay them a last tribute.
As Yette departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Yette. Though Yette may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Mary Vandendam and John Vandendam; her siblings, Hank Vandendam, Betty Wade (Rod), Peggy Cuff (Brent) and Susan Vandendam (Jeff); and her friend Joanne Meyer.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 23rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Ward Weston Chapel (2035 Weston Rd, Toronto, ON M9N 1X7).
In her memory, Yette would be touched by flowers sent in her honor or trees planted in her name, alongside donations be made to St. Joseph's and Dorothy Ley Hospice.
