It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Vito Angelo Lacalamita (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on September 8, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Eileen Lacalamita (Leone); his siblings, Antonia, Frank and Maria; his nephews, Angelo, Victor and Leonard; and his niece Frances.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Lacalamita and Barbara Lacalamita (John Radford); and his granddaughter Jennifer Radford (Matthew Garland). He is also survived by many nieces, great-nieces, nephews and great-nephews.
A funeral service was held on Monday, September 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Kane-Jerrett North York Funeral Home (6191 Yonge St, North York, ON M2M 4K4).
If desired, in memoriam donations may be made to the Stroke Unit at North York General Hospital.
