She was predeceased by: her parents, Angelo Hassos and Anastasia Hassos (Gardanis); her husband Athanasios "Thomas" Karavelis; and her brothers, Michael, James and Olympios Hassos.
She is survived by: her sons, George (Andreanne), Michael (Lily) and Gregory (Julie); her grandchildren, Thomas (Antonia), Matthew, Sarah, Sofia and Simon; her great grandchild Alex; her sisters-in-law, Mina and Georgia; and her extended family Rochester. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ward Funeral Home - Weston Chapel (2035 Weston Rd, Toronto, ON M9N1X7). A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church (1 Brookhaven Dr, North York, ON M6M4N6). A burial was held on Thursday, October 24th 2024 at the Park Lawn Cemetery (2845 Bloor St W, Etobicoke, ON M8X1A6).
