With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Sofia Roubos (Toronto, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Sofia left this world on January 23, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her granddaughter Sophia; her husband George; and her siblings, Stathis, Demetrios, Nicolas, George, Alex and Evangelia.
She is survived by: her children, Asklipiada Efstathiou (Konstantino), Chrysoula Sarris (late Dimitri), Panagiotis Roubos (Sandra) and Anastasia Slinko (Boris); her grandchildren, Spiro, Dimitra, Elena, Christina, Nicolas, George and Elias; and her sister Panagiota.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Irene's Church. A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the York Cemetery (160 Beecroft Rd, North York, ON M2N5Z5).
