With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Sidney Smith McMurray (Toronto, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 19, 2024 at the age of 91. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sidney Smith McMurray to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John McMurray and Annie McMurray; and his brother Jack. He is survived by: his wife Judith; his children, Steven (Brenda), Debra, Dawn (Craig Torisawa), Cynthia, Cinda (Dan Brown), Lindsay (Liza Nassim), Shandley (Austin Brown) and Taryn (Nick Findlay); and his caregiver Craig Pawlak. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.

“Dear McMurray family, the loss of Sid - Mr.McMurray to me, is felt in so many ways. I cherish my memories of spending time with my best friend and my “second family” during my young adulthood. Mr and Mrs. McMurray opened their home, and their hearts with kindness and support. I will alway remember the way Sid lovingly looked at Judy with his charming smile and infectious laughter. I’ve been so blessed to have known and loved him. May he rest in peace. Xox”
