She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Smith and Evelyn Smith; and her husband Byron. She is survived by: her children, Stephen, Kevin (Giuliana) and Janice (Carolyn); her grandchildren, Justin, Kristyn and Austin; and her great grandchild Ivy-Laine. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and caregivers.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Turner & Porter - Yorke Chapel (2357 Bloor St W, Toronto, ON M6S1P4). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
