Shirley Doreen left this world on February 9, 2025 at the age of 94, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her husband William Slowleigh; and her parents, Edith Shirley Petrie and Herman Petrie. She is survived by: her children, Robert French (Glenna French), Linda Trewartha (Neale Trewartha), Paul Graham (Adriana Graham) and Brian Slowleigh; and her brothers, Bill, Jack, Gord and Ron. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Turner & Porter - Yorke Chapel (2357 Bloor St W, Toronto, ON M6S1P4). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.

Doreen was a monthly donor to several charities, including the Daily Bread Food Bank and Children's Aid Society of Toronto - please consider donations to these organizations in lieu of flowers.
