He was predeceased by: his wife Grace; his daughter Diane; his son-in-law Ray Roberge; and his brothers, Jim and Gordon.

He is survived by: his brother Fred; his daughter Heather Penney (Brian); his grandchildren, Julie (Manuel), Jimmy (Sandra), Graham, Johnny, Ember (Martin), Ryan (Apple), Randy (Lisa), Desiree and Amanda; and his sister-in-law Jean.
