He was predeceased by: his wife Mary; and his brother Max Berketa. He is survived by: his daughters, Stephanie (Gregg Dawe) and Christine (Nicholas Yuzwin); and his nieces, Karen, Olena and Oksana.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 25th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Newediuk Funeral Home, Kipling Chapel (2058 Kipling Ave, Toronto, ON M9W4J9). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 26th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the St. Demetrius Church (135 La Rose Avenue, Toronto, Ontario M9P1A6).
