It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rajeswara Devi Vigneshwaran (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on February 6, 2025, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Nagalingam Senathirajah (Malaysia) and Siva Gnana Soundara Devi (Malaysia); her parents-in-law, Murugesu Veluppillai and Annapuranam Veluppillai; her spouses, Veluppillai Vigneshwaran and Retired Physics Teacher; and her siblings, Yogarajah, Dr. Balarajah and Dharmarajah of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia..
She is survived by: her children, Kuga Dasan and Gnana Soundari; her children-in-law, Niranjala, Pathmaseelan and Dr. Jeyanthiran; her grandchildren, Dharshini, Ketheisan, Thushilah and Tharshalah; her grandfather-in-law Nish; her great grandchildren, Logan, Tharagai, Theeran and Ethan; and her siblings, Devi Thananayagam, Kamala Dharmaratnam, Ananadarajah and Vimmi Joeganathan.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Highland Funeral Home - Scarborough Chapel (3280 Sheppard Ave E, Scarborough, ON M1T3K3). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Highland Hills Memorial Gardens (12492 Woodbine Ave, Gormley, ON L0H1G0).
