Peter Forbes Laurence Obituary

It is with great sadness that we say goodbye to Peter Forbes Laurence. Peter passed peacefully on November 19 2024 at Hennick Bridgepoint Hospital at the age of 79 with dear friends by his side.

Predeceased by his parents Hilda Mae Tucker and Aubrey Forbes Laurence and survived by his brother Timothy Richard Laurence of Nova Scotia.

Peter's career in the Fashion Industry spanned many years and included being the Founding Director of the Festival of Canadian Fashion, running his own Production Company for many years with clients including Ira Berg, Chanel, Versace and many others. He also served as the Display Manager for Holt Renfrew before joining Tiffany and Company where he remained until his passing.

Peter will be remembered fondly by his many friends and associates. He was an icon in the Fashion Industry in Toronto and had an innate sense of style, dashing presence and manners. His eye for detail and level of taste were both legendary. He was a one of a kind gentleman and a gem of a person.

Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers donations made be made if desired to a charity of one's choice in Peter's memory.
