The memory of Panagiotis Kastanias in Toronto, Ontario, who passed away on January 20, 2025 at the age of 90, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. In the vast expanse of eternity, Panagiotis shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Panagiotis farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his son Nickolas (Patricia); and also, Constantine and Georgios. He is survived by: his wife Stratigoula; his granddaughter Nicole; his niece Zoe; his nephew Nick (Xenia); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, George, Kosta and Sofia. He is also survived by the first of three siblings.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Metamorphosis Tou Sotiros Greek Orthodox Church (40 Donlands Ave, Toronto, ON M4J3N6). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:15 PM at the Pine Hills Cemetery (625 Birchmount Rd, Scarborough, ON M1K1R1).
