He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Diane; his parents, Maura Mercer and James Mercer; his parents-in-law, William and Georgette Samia; his siblings, Ian (Margaret), Paul (Cindy) and Jane Stoyles (Noel); his brothers-in-law, Danny (Stephanie) and Matthew (Jessica); his nieces and nephews, Kaylea (Randy), Shauna, Kendra, Tristan, Dylan, Hollie (Steve), Jamie, William, Benjamin, Dean and Selina; his great-nephew Jack; and his children, Nipper, Elvis and Quincy.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home Chapel (467 Sherbourne St, Toronto, ON M4X1K5). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Toronto Power Wheelchair hockey league (TPWHL) and Toronto Cat Rescue in his memory.
