It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Merlin Adeline Thompson of Toronto, Ontario, who passed away on July 31, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Mildred Thompson; her son Michael Thompson; and her brother Carl Smith. She is survived by: her son Marlon Thompson; her sister Evelyn Maurice; her brother-in-law Claude Maurice; her nieces and nephews, Simone, Rochelle Maurice, Melissa, Maria Smith, Lisa Alleyene, Hayden and Jason Smith; and her godchildren, Gloria Lewis and Teneke Shabazz. She is also survived by her family and friends.
