Maureen Timms Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maureen Timms (Toronto, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 24, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Matthew Pinto and Olivia Pinto; her husband Hugh Timms; and her son Neil Timms. She is survived by: her siblings, Lionel, Wilfred, Leslie, Arnold and Muriel; her children, Howard (Monique), Glen, John (Louise) and Sandy; her grandchildren, Isabell, Dylan, Charlie, Chantal and Jesse; her great grandchildren, Max and Hailey; and her sister Phyllis. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Newediuk Funeral Home, Kipling Chapel (2058 Kipling Ave, Toronto, ON M9W4J9). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Andrews Church (2547 Kipling Ave, Etobicoke, ON M9V3A8). A burial was held on Friday, April 4th 2025 at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery (7300 ON-27, Woodbridge, ON L4L1A5).
