Mary Edith McCowan Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 9, 2023, at the age of 105, Mary Edith McCowan of Toronto, Ontario passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Walter McCowan; and her parents, Hubert Granville and Freda Edith Nickerson of Liverpool. She is survived by: her children, Lynda, Ian McCowan (Cora), Ashley (Elias Katsavrias), Jonathon Dionisi (Terri Ann) and Erin McCowan (Adam Brown); her great grandchild Sunny Lee; her daughter Mary Elizabeth; her siblings, Jean, Dorothy, Catherine, Granville and Ronald Nickerson; and her grandson Lee Walter McCowan. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
