She is survived by: her husband Andrew Day; her children, Malia and Ozzy; her parents, Ron and Patricia; her sister Lisa; her aunts and uncles, John, James, Margaret and Judy; her in-laws, Michael and Debrah; her sister Courtney; and her brother-in-law Taylor.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Turner & Porter - Yorke Chapel (2357 Bloor St W, Toronto, ON M6S1P4). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Parrish (3055 Bloor St W, Etobicoke, ON M8X1C6). A reception will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the St. George's Golf and Country Club (1668 Islington Ave, Toronto, ON M9A3M9).

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, honoring Marissa's spirit and fight.
