With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marion Irene McPherson Hoare of Toronto, Ontario, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 11, 2025 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Marion Irene McPherson shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Marion Irene McPherson farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Levi Wiseman and Eliza Wiseman (Adams) of Glace Bay; and her brothers, Bill Wiseman (Lois) and Baxter Wiseman (Mary). She is survived by: her children, Al McPherson (Loretta) and Ruth Laslo (Daniel) of High River, AB; her grandchildren, Rod McPherson of Edmonton, AB and Alexsaundra Carter (Mat) of Langdon, AB; and her great grandchildren, Breton McPherson of Edmonton, AB and Annika Carter of Langdon, AB.. She is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Salvation Army Sydney Community Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Salvation Army Sydney Community Church Food Bank.
