Maria Sofia Martins Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maria Sofia Martins (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on March 31, 2025 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacinto Massinha and Maria Gloria Barbosa; her brothers, Carlos (Gloria) and João (Conceição); her parents-in-law, Manuel Lima Martins and Maria Isabel Sousa; and her siblings-in-law, Aura, Jose, Berta, Aires, Artemesia, Edgarde and Gloria.
She is survived by: her daughter Gloria; her son-in-law Harry Silberberg; and her brother José (Marie). She is also survived by aunt to her many nieces and nephews.
