With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Maria Petrasso (Toronto, Ontario), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. As we bid Maria farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Maria is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Carmine; her children, Melina (Elvis) and Alida (Gaetano); and her grandchildren, Francisco, Marco, Paolo, Mary, Sara and Francesco.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the DeMarco Funeral Home (3725 Keele St, North York, ON M3J1N4). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Anthony's Parish (1041 Bloor St W, Toronto, ON M6H1M4). A burial will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at the Westminster Cemetery (5830 Bathurst St, North York, ON M2R1Y6).
