As we bid adieu to Maria's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Maria has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her husband Mykola; her grandchildren, Laryssa, Andrew and Chrystian; and her mother Baba.
She is survived by: her daughter Anna. She is also survived by her siblings in Poland, as well as her nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cardinal Funeral Home - Annette Chapel (92 Annette St, Toronto, ON M6P1N6). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Ukrainian Catholic Church. A burial was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the Park Lawn Cemetery (2845 Bloor St W, Etobicoke, ON M8X1A6).
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made to the Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Holy Protection of the Mother of God (https://holyprotection.ca) directly.
