Manuel Jesus Barrera Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Manuel Jesus Barrera (Toronto, Ontario), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 12, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Manuel Jesus may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Manuel Jesus touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Gloria Mercedes Barrera; his daughters, Sandra and Sheri; and his parents, Manuel Barrera and Aurora Chasi.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 1:15 PM at the Holy Cross Catholic Funeral Home (211 Langstaff Rd E, Thornhill, ON L3T3Z6).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Manuel be made to Sunnybrook – Tory Trauma Program.
