It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lucia Ferreira (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on February 12, 2025, at the age of 44, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Paulo Ferreira; her daughters, Sophia and Stella; her parents, Manuel De Medeiros and Maria Margarida Medeiros; her siblings, Manny (Rose), Laura (Augustino) and Nelson (Tammy); her siblings-in-law, Michael and Paula Ferreira; her parents-in-law, Maria Rosa Ferreira and Antonio Ferreira; and her nieces and nephews, Brandon, Nathan, Emily and Brianna.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Cardinal Funeral Homes (366 Bathurst St, Toronto, ON M5T 2S6). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the St. Agnes Parish (2130 Rodick Rd, Markham, ON L6C1S7). An entombment was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Prospect Cemetery (1450 St Clair Ave W, Toronto, ON M6E1C6).
