It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Louis Bacakos (Toronto, Ontario), who passed away on August 30, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Louis leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Stella; and his sons, Peter (Rose) and Paul (late Mary).
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Ward Funeral Home - Weston Chapel (2035 Weston Rd, Toronto, ON M9N1X7). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 6th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Prospect Cemetery (1450 St Clair Ave W, Toronto, ON M6E1C6).
