She was predeceased by: her husband Jack Masao; her sisters, Keiko (Shigeyasu) and Nori (Buddy); and her siblings-in-law, Harold (Shizuko), Fusako (Yoshio) and Sadako (Zenichiro).
She is survived by: her child Joni Yo; and her siblings, Henry Tatsuo (Elina) and Mieko (Jiro).
